Precise positioning, guaranteeing panel boring quality, is possible thanks to the position display and to the rigidity of the drop-down reference stops. The range comprises 4 versions of the machine: Techno FDT and Techno SDT boring and boring/dowel inserting machines for horizontal and vertical, top and bottom boring, and the compact Techno F and Techno S for bottom and side boring and dowel inserting. The NC 400 Plus numerical control is used to program and save the set up data for electronic management of the machining axes. Fast positioning, thanks to the prismatic guides and roller bearing blocks driving the axes. Electronic display of relative positions, transmitted by the NC, and of absolute positions.
All the models in the line can be PC managed, the editor module allows positioning values to be programmed directly from the office workstation. The data is transferred to the machine by cable or using a floppy disk. When the program is opened from the control the operator views the axis positions and sends them to the display.
The tooling system supports office programming, thanks to the fact that the programs are filled in automatically based on the boring diagrams. It also guides the operator on machine tooling operations by graphic display of the panel, providing specific information on each of the boring units.
The boring chuck quick change system and graphic definition of the tool set up allow out-of-machine tooling (in masked time) without any risk of error.
All the machines in the range can be fitted with the automatically fed vertical stacker to stack strips with maximum dimensions 250 X 1200 millimetres.
