The line is dedicated to all those large and medium industries requiring to produce consistently sized batches with negligible set up times in comparison to those required for machining. Techno K consolidates and strengthens Biesse's experience in the boring technology field. Capable of high productivity and built to last, THROUGHFEED NC BORING and inserting MACHINE deals with all those boring needs in which quality and productivity are the main requirements. All the THROUGHFEED NC BORING and inserting MACHINES in the line are equipped with numerical control, to facilitate setting operations and to store programs, while boring precision and quality are guaranteed by the use of mechanical solutions whose long-term validity and reliability have been tried and tested. Techno K also guarantees a good level of customisation by the use of special dedicated chucks. The range comprises Techno KFD, a through boring machine with two horizontal heads and top and bottom vertical boring units, Techno KF for bottom and side boring operations, and the THROUGHFEED NC BORING and inserting MACHINES.

The straight guides guarantee high positioning precision, and also allow fast and easy sliding of the boring units. The minimum head closure of 96 mm means that it is possible to process narrow pieces.
Techno KS and Techno KSD are equipped with eight track dowel feeders and automatic selectors, which allow management and installation of up to 16 injectors.
