Akron 245 is an squaring edgebanding machines that is compact, but at the same time fully equipped: its limited working dimensions allow it to be used even in the most restricted working environments, and its full range of fittings also allow it to carry out rounding-off of the banding material applied. When edgebanding with thicker banding materials (e.g. 3 mm thick PVC/ABS) on straight panels and/or on the straight sides of post-formed panels, the multiple function rounding unit allows perfect finishing of all aspects of the applied banding material, including rounding off of the corners and edges. Also, when changing machining operation from one type of banding material to the other there is no need to carry out manual adjustment of the operating units. The Numerical Control command enables programs and machining cycles to be stored, making the machine incomparably simple and flexible to use in all conditions. It allows perfect finishing both when machining plastic banding materials (e.g. PVC/ABS 3 mm) and wooden banding strips up to 8 mm thick.

IN-501 Edge trimmer on prismatic guide Precise, high quality cutting of thin and extra-thick banding material. The ease with which it slides on the prismatic guide ensures both solidity and high reliability at the same time. The unit can be tilted (from 0 to 15 degrees) either manually or, on request, from control panel. Fitted with 2 independent, high frequency motors (250 W each).
RS-500 Overlapping double edge trimmer Solid and robust for rough trimming of the top and bottom edge of the banding material applied. Slides on ball bushing guides. Simple, fast tool changing and maintenance thanks to the quick-release system. 2 independent high frequency motors (550 W each).
RI-500 Tilting double edge trimming unit To finish thin banding materials or shape extra-thick PVC/ABS banding materials. Also excellent when machining wooden panels and banding materials, thanks to the large diameter rotating disk front and vertical copiers. Fitted with 2 independent, high frequency motors (550 W each) that can be tilted from 0 to 20 degrees.
CR-200 Multiple function rounding unit To round off and trim the top and bottom edge of the banding material applied. Ideal for synthetic banding material (PVC/ABS) up to 3 mm thick. Allows rapid transition from thin to thick banding material. Fitted with 2 high frequency, 1200 rpm motors sliding on straight, high precision ball guides.
RBK-501 Compact edge scraper Optimum finishing even on extra-thick PVC/ABS banding material, thanks to the vertical and horizontal copiers with chrome-plated contact surface. Precise, safe, vibration-free trimming, thanks to the solid, enbloc steel structure. Complete with 4 mechanical indicators and exclusion from the machining line either manually or, on request, from the control panel.
