BASE The machine base consists of a solid monolithic structure in normalised steel coupled with robust supports for added stability. The movement guides of the saw carriage are positioned on the monolithic structure, thereby ensuring perfect linear movement. The guides are cemented and rectified to guarantee precision and duration in time.
SAW CARRIAGE The perfectly linear movement of the saw carriage, with up to maximum speeds of 150 m/min, is obtained by the movement of a precise pinion and helicoidal rack and brushless servomotor with digital technology, installed directly on the saw carriage. This guarantees real CNC control without the use of sensors or microswitches. The main saw blade projection is adjusted automatically in function of the thickness of the of the stack to cut, thereby obtaining the best quality cut under any working conditions.
SAW BLADE CHANGE The design of the saw carriage allows for easy and quick access in order to change the saw blades. This operation is done in a practical and safe manner thanks to the patented "Quick Change" system. The alignment of the scoring blade to the main saw blade is safely carried out with the saw blades in motion, from outside the machine.
A heavy duty secondary pressure beam assures a firm clamp of the panels before the gripper opening on the last trimming operation. The main pressure beam operates on both sides of the cutting line and immediately beside the saw. The strong pressure beam action ensures a compact stack of panels, thus allowing for an optimum quality cut. Both steel pressure beams move independently and their perfect parallelism with respect to the working table is assured by heavy duty torsion bars.
PUSHER CARRIAGE AND PNEUMATIC GRIPPERS The robust pneumatic grippers assure a firm clamping of the stack of panels thus ensuring high movement speed of the pusher. Their special self-levelling structure avoids any undesired pressure of the lower surface of panels on the working table. The grippers may be positioned according to the different needs on the whole cutting length, at 50 mm intervals thanks to the use of the double pressure beam and to the special structure of the machine table. The heavy duty pusher carriage is driven by a Brushless servomotor with digital technology directly managed by the numerical control. Its precise and parallel movement is guaranteed by ground and hardened precision racks and pinions to ensure durability and precision in the course of time.
SIDE ALIGNERS The lateral side aligning unit is motorised and completely automatic. Its positioning is managed by the numerical control in function of the length of the panels to align. The aligning rollers are provided with independent guideways and movement devices act on both sides of the cutting line during the entire cross cutting operation.
LIFT TABLE (WNT 600 ACTIVE) The lift table consists of a strong frame and is managed electronically, thus granting a perfect counting and lifting of the stack. The raising frame of the lift table is equipped with idle rollers to allow side or rear loading of the pile. The special loading system, including liftable pincers and special pushing points, significantly reduces the time for the handling of the stack of panels to be cut. The lift table prepares the following stack to cut as soon as the pusher has undergone the loading operations. The station connecting the lift table to the cutting line is equipped with idle independent rollers to avoid scratching on panels with delicate surfaces.
LOADING AND UNLOADING WN 600 ACTIVE and WNT 600 ACTIVE can be equipped with a vacuum device for loading in order to avoid damaging the surface of delicate panels. It is also possible to realise the loading of stacks thanks to a system designed specifically for thin panels. The phases of loading and unloading are completely automatic.
